Daniel F. McCarthy | Founding Partner

Dan has over 50 years of public accounting experience including a number of years with the former national firms of Arthur Andersen and Touch Ross & Co.. He has extensive experience in taxation and auditing of commercial and not for profit organizations and business valuations. Specific income tax experience includes foreign and domestic businesses and income tax planning for high net worth individuals and their families. He also conducts peer reviews of CPA firms that offer accounting and auditing services as required by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Alfred T. Hargrave, Sr., CPA | Founding Partner

Al has over forty-three years of experience in public accounting, including seven with the former national firm of Touche Ross & Co.  He has extensive accounting and auditing experience.  He has provided accounting and auditing services to commercial entities, non-profit organizations, and governmental entities.  He has also conducted peer reviews of other CPA firms under the AICPA’s peer review program.  Over the years, he has audited municipalities, transit authorities, a planning commission, regional school districts, water districts, a sewer treatment district, a retirement plan and an OPEB plan.  In addition, he has extensive experience in conducting Federal single audits for non-profit organizations and governmental entities.  Finally, for forty-three years, he has been involved in tax preparation and tax planning for individuals and businesses.

Alfred T. Hargrave, Jr., CPA | Partner

Al has over seventeen years experience in public accounting. He is a graduate of Brown University and has been with the firm since July 1996. He has audited not-for-profit organizations, credit unions, governmental entities and public pension plans. In addition to performing audits, he has worked extensively with individual clients to help them in various areas of financial planning. He is also a registered representative of Cetera Financial Specialists LLC and a member of both the Mass Society of CPAs and the AICPA. Al resides in Charlton, MA with his wife and two daughters.

Jonathan Furey, CPA | Partner

Jon has over nineteen years experience in public accounting.  He has been with the firm since December, 1996.  Jonathan graduated from Bentley College in 1992.  He also holds his insurance license with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is securities registered with Cetera Financial Specialists LLC, member FINRA/SIPC.  Jon has audited not-for-profit organizations, banks, HUD real estate projects associated with nursing homes, manufacturing companies, a local government unit, and pension plans.  He has taken continuing education courses in the areas of the Single Audit Act, Uniform Financial Reports, banking, not-for-profit organizations, and accounting software applications.  Jon is a member of both the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the AICPA.

Tracy Perron, CPA | Partner

Tracy A. Perron is a Certified Public Accountant with a Masters in Taxation. She has over 20 years experience in public accounting and tax advisory services. She has been with the firm since September 1992.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Nichols College and her graduate degree from Bentley University. Her areas of tax specialty include individual, corporate, and partnership tax preparation. She regularly consults with our clients on tax issues and proactive tax planning. She also provides a full range of accounting services to our small business clients. Tracy resides in Shrewsbury with her husband and two children.

Michael J. Hargrave, CPA | Partner

Michael is a graduate of Assumption College and has over 14 years experience in public accounting and tax services.  He has been with the firm since May 1999 and is a resident of the Town of Plymouth.  Michael has audited not-for-profit organizations, banks, manufacturing companies, pension plans, transit authorities, school districts, cities, and other governmental units.  In addition, he also provides bookkeeping services as well as individual, corporate and partnership tax services.  Michael is a member of the East Coast Connectors BNI in Plymouth, Ma and a member of both the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the AICPA.

Kellie Welch | Administrative Assistant

​​Kellie has been with the firm since 2018. Before taking time to raise her children, Kellie worked in Information Technology and Technology Support. Although her main responsibilities are to support our partners and clients, Kellie is also certified in tax preparation. Her organizational and technological skills help to improve the efficiency of our tax filings and client support. She lives in Grafton with her husband and two children.
